About The Role

  • Ensure lawful and effective planning decisions are made and challenged where necessary.
  • Support sustainable development by balancing legal compliance with environmental and community considerations.
  • Develop expertise in a niche but impactful area of law, often leading to specialisation in planning, environmental, or public law

What This Role Would Include

  • Assist in advising public and private sector clients on a wide range of planning matters, including planning applications, appeals, enforcement, and judicial reviews.
  • Draft and negotiate Section 106 agreements and other planning-related legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare reports, briefings, and advice notes.
  • Support senior lawyers in complex planning and environmental cases.
  • Liaise with local authorities, developers, consultants, and other stakeholders.

  • Qualified solicitor in England and Wales (2 years+ PQE preferred).
  • Strong academic background in law, ideally with a focus on planning or environmental law.
