Job summary

Franco Manca in Southampton is looking for a Junior Pizza Chef to join our busy kitchen team. You’ll craft our renowned sourdough pizzas, handle dough, stretch bases, and ensure top quality on every dish during fast-paced service.

You’ll work closely with teammates to deliver quick, friendly service, keep the kitchen clean, and contribute to the Franco Manca vibe. Prior kitchen experience helps, but training is provided to get you up to speed.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen experience in a professional setting is preferred.
• Willingness to learn pizza making and dough handling.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• As a Junior Pizza Chef, you’ll be at the heart of what we do – creating the pizzas that keep our guests coming back for more.
• You’ll prepare and cook our legendary sourdough pizzas to perfection, maintaining high standards every time.
• Work closely with your team to deliver a fast, efficient service, even during the busiest shifts.
• Handle fresh dough, stretch bases, and top pizzas with the finest ingredients.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and running smoothly – from prep to service.
• Bring energy and passion to the kitchen, contributing to the Franco Manca vibe.

• £12.91 – 15.40 per hour OTE (including service charge - our data says you can earn between £1 to £2.5 per hour on top of your pay)
