Agincare is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Assistant to join our busy finance department. This entry-level role can be based at our Head Office on Portland or in Poole at our patch office, working under the Head of Payroll to ensure accurate, compliant payroll delivery.

You will handle end-to-end payroll processing, support projects with senior colleagues and respond to payroll queries with professionalism in a fast-paced environment. We value reliability and a proactive mindset.

Qualifications

• Payroll experience is desirable but not essential.
• Strong Excel skills and confidence with IT systems.
• A flexible, can-do attitude and ability to adapt to changing demands.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to support the wider team.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end payroll processing for assigned payrolls.
• Support project-based work with senior payroll colleagues.
• Assist with third-party reporting including Nest, HMRC, Court Orders, and Office of National Statistics.
• Respond to payroll queries with accuracy and professionalism.
• Provide key payroll data as needed.
• Help maintain and improve payroll processes and documentation.
