Job summary

Agincare Head Office Services is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Assistant to join our busy finance team and deliver accurate payroll services. The role can be based at our Portland Head Office or our Poole patch office, with reporting to the Head of Payroll.

You'll handle end-to-end payroll processing, support wider payroll projects, and assist with third-party reporting including Nest, HMRC, Court Orders and ONS.

Qualifications

• Payroll processing experience is desirable but not essential.
• Strong Excel skills and confidence with IT systems.
• Ability to stay flexible and adapt to changing demands.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end payroll processing for assigned payrolls.
• Support project-based work with senior payroll colleagues.
• Assist with third-party reporting including Nest, HMRC, Court Orders, and Office of National Statistics.
• Respond to payroll queries with accuracy and professionalism.
• Provide key payroll data as needed.
• Help maintain and improve payroll processes and documentation.
