Job summary

Mastercard Inc. is seeking a Junior Business Analyst/Product Owner to join the UK product analysis team. You will work on domestic payment clearing products (Bacs, Real Time, ICS), shaping requirements and driving enhancements on existing platforms.

In this role you will elicit business needs, create analysis artefacts, and collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to deliver value. Experience in financial services and agile ways of working is preferred.

Qualifications

• Competent BA/PO with experience of working in financial services.
• Competent in producing business requirements specification documents.
• Very good analysis and problem solving skills.
• Working knowledge/experience in Business Analysis within a complex change environment.
• Very good communication skills and able to communicate both written and verbally to internal stakeholders and external clients.
• Be skilled performing elicitation and analysis of business change, functional and non-functional requirements.
• Working knowledge of software delivery lifecycle approach, agile/iterative development.
• Competent in facilitating backlog refinement sessions.
• Proven track record producing high quality user stories and acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities

• Elicit and analyse business change requirements across stakeholders.
• Own and produce analysis artefacts and documentation.
• Evaluate current products against changes and investments.
• Manage analysis tasks, timescales and approach with delivery teams.
• Model and communicate requirements and system behaviour.
• Familiarity with Atlassian toolset.
• Workshop facilitation experience.
