Junior Paraplanner - Wokingham

Our client is seeking a Trainee Paraplanner to join their team. This role is suitable for someone who is halfway to being Diploma qualified and aims to become a fully qualified Paraplanner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and analyze investment funds and financial products, considering client objectives.
• Use FE Analytics for fund research where appropriate.
• Review asset allocation for investment and pension holdings.
• Complete financial cashflow forecasts to demonstrate clients' current and future financial positions.
• Prepare Financial Plans outlining current positions, target goals, and strategies to achieve them.
• Prepare fund switch and encashment letters based on advice.
• Gather applications, key features documents, factsheets, illustrations, and product comparison quotes, providing clear research.
• Liaise with Product Providers / Third Parties for technical queries.
• Work effectively within a team.
• Accurately complete new business sheets for handover to the PA.
• Successfully complete all relevant exams as per training plan.
• Keep industry and product knowledge up-to-date via webinars, seminars, and training.
• Previous experience in a similar financial services role.
• Practical application of technical financial knowledge.
• Experience in data research and report writing within financial services.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong customer focus and professional approach.
• Flexible and proactive attitude.
• Working towards full Diploma qualification.
• Good understanding of Financial Planning process.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
