Trainee Paraplanner - Wokingham
Our client is seeking a Trainee Paraplanner to join their team in Wokingham.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and quality check Private Client fact finds to ensure information supports fund and product research for report drafting.
- Develop holistic financial planning advice based on client information, drafting recommendation reports for sign-off by the Adviser.
- Gather all documentation supporting recommendations.
- Meet individual targets for productivity and quality.
- Update internal systems with case progress and support tracking of new business receipt.
- Maintain record keeping on back office systems, ensuring timely import or scanning of documents.
- Liaise with Business Support staff for administrative support at pre-sales stages.
Experience and Skills:
- Planning & Organising

- Technical Knowledge
- Strong analytical and evaluation skills
- Knowledge of financial planning, pensions, investments, wealth management, life assurance, tax matters, and corporate financial advice
- Proficiency in Excel and Word
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a sales support role, with aspiration to progress to Trainee Paraplanner
- Experience in an IFA firm is essential
- Working towards Diploma Level 4 in Financial Planning
Completion of a full Diploma in Financial Planning is required to advance into a full Paraplanner role.
