Job summary

A leading company in financial services is seeking a Junior Paraplanner based in Dorking, Surrey. Type of Position: Junior Paraplanner - Dorking
Pay: £25k - £35k

Junior Paraplanner - Dorking

Our client is seeking a Junior Paraplanner to join their team based in Dorking, Surrey.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the Financial Planner in formulating advice to clients, providing technical support and guidance as needed.
  2. Review client objectives to ensure clarity, conciseness, and achievability in relation to their financial circumstances.
  3. Conduct research and analysis of investment funds and financial products, considering client objectives.
  4. Review asset allocation for investment and pension holdings.
  5. Complete financial cashflow forecasts to demonstrate the client's current and future financial position.
  6. Prepare Financial Plans outlining the current position, goals, and strategies to reach them.
  7. Liaise with Product Providers and Third Parties regarding technical queries.
  8. Accurately complete new business sheets for handover to the PA.
  9. Support and assist team members to ensure tasks are completed on schedule and deadlines are met.
  10. Work towards Level 4 diploma.
  11. Possess at least 1 year of report writing experience.
  12. Have a good understanding of the Financial Planning process.
  13. Experience using IO and FE Analytics.
  14. Possess strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  15. Provide excellent customer service to advisers and clients.
  16. Demonstrate excellent planning and organizational skills.
  17. Work effectively to deadlines.
  18. Maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
  19. Understand cashflow modelling.
  20. Have broad knowledge of the Financial Services Industry and high-level technical knowledge.
  21. Possess in-depth knowledge and experience with cashflow modelling.
  22. Ability to manage and complete projects.
