Job summary

Avanti Recruitment is recruiting a .NET/Java Developer to join a global financial software team. You will work on a microservices-based platform, delivering applications worldwide, primarily using .NET with Java and frontend tech. The role entails deploying solutions on Kubernetes and taking part in the full interview process.

The ideal candidate will have strong .NET experience, a 2:1 CS degree, and 1–3 years commercial experience, with hybrid working from London and 3 days in the office.

Qualifications

• 2:1 degree or above in Computer Science
• Strong .NET experience
• Kubernetes experience is desirable
• Java experience is desirable
• TypeScript and frontend experience is desirable
• Commercial experience in the financial sector is desirable
• Ideally 1-3 years of commercial experience

Responsibilities

• Work on our Java microservices-based platform delivering applications to customers around the world
• Develop primarily in .NET, with additional use of Java, TypeScript, and React for frontend development
• Build and deploy solutions on Kubernetes
• Participate in our interview process, including a technical challenge, programming exercise, and discussion of aspirations and ambitions
• Work in our office 3 days per week
