Job summary

Bravissimo, part of Wacoal Europe Group, invites applications for a Junior Merchandiser based in Warwick with a hybrid working pattern (minimum two days in the office). You will support the Senior Merchandiser in planning product ranges and stock allocation to maximise choice for customers.

The role requires strong numeracy, analytical ability and Excel proficiency, plus experience in retail/Multi-channel. You will produce stock and sales insights, help forecast trading needs, build

• Academic qualification in a mathematical or analytical subject.
• Experience in a retail or multi-channel environment.
• Minimum of 3 year’s experience within Merchandising in a retail head office environment.
• Outstanding level of numeracy and speed of understanding.
• Excellent communication/interpersonal skills with all levels of the company.
• Experience using merchandising systems and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Merchandiser with planning and trading of the product ranges, including sales and stock analysis and communicating findings to the wider business.
• Proactively seek feedback from customer facing teams to inform governance and performance of the function.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documents and robust sales data to base future buy quantities on.
• Build strong relationships across departments and continuously understand sales performance and customer needs.

Purpose of the role:

To assist with the planning of our product ranges alongside the Senior Merchandiser, always with the aim that stock and choice is optimised in line with business and customer requirements, and that our customers have great choice, by individual size, in whatever channel they choose to shop in.

To provide detailed and insightful analysis on stock and sales, sharing this widely and communicating learnings clearly and effectively and assisting in the trading of the business. Assist with the forecasting and trading of your categories, building strong relationships across departments and continuously seeking to understand our sales performance and our customers better.

Key accountabilities:

You are responsible for assisting the Senior Merchandiser with the planning and trading of the product ranges. This means assisting with sales and stock analysis, and in communicating this to the wider business

You are to ensure that you proactively seek feedback from our customer facing teams in respect of yours and your team’s areas of responsibility as a key part of the governance of your function and of your team’s performance

You are accountable for the day to day running of the department by ensuring that documents are kept accurate and updated and create/maintain robust sales data to base future buy quantities on
