About your responsibilities:

  2. Work with Buyers & Designers to deliver a commercial and profitable range relevant to the Adanola customer globally, considering OTB, options, and pricing.
  3. Under the guidance of Heads of Product & Senior Merchandisers, set and deliver key KPIs at category, line, and attribute levels. Ensure stock is managed efficiently to optimize sales and minimize obsolete stock.
  4. Maintain departmental forecasting tools and planning documents, highlighting risks or opportunities versus plan, and agree on next steps with Heads of Product.
  5. Manage OTB, manipulate intake at the category level, and propose airing/phasing strategies to meet departmental targets.
  6. Trade the department in-season, quickly identify risks and opportunities to sales, and propose solutions.
  7. Lead and drive team trade meetings, update on performance, and communicate proposed actions to management.
  8. Refine and improve processes to benefit the department.
  9. Understand the product critical path to ensure merchandising deadlines are met and avoid delays.
  10. Build strong strategic supplier partnerships and ensure regular forecasts are shared.
  11. Lead, motivate, and develop the team to be high-performing, happy, and successful.
  12. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strong working relationships that positively impact the department and merchandising function.

About you as a leader:

  1. Set clear expectations and create a shared purpose within your team.
  2. Be aware of your leadership style and adapt your approach to engage and motivate your team.
  3. Provide regular, balanced feedback to recognize great work and address issues proactively.

About you:

  1. Experience in successful merchandising teams in the fashion industry, either as a Junior Merchandiser or Senior Assistant Merchandiser.
  2. Ability to identify problems and inefficiencies, seeking support from Heads of Product to resolve them.
  3. Commercially astute with a balance of creativity and brand values.
  4. Leadership and motivation skills.
  5. Strong negotiation skills.
  6. Growth mindset, positivity, and willingness to develop.
  7. Ability to build genuine relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners/suppliers.
  8. Team player and adaptable to change.
  9. Excellent communication skills.
