Job Opportunity: Junior Merchandiser

A great opportunity for a Junior Merchandiser to join a contemporary & active apparel business in the Derbyshire area. They are an Ecommerce & Wholesale company that has experienced strong growth over the past 3 years, with offices in South Yorkshire, London, and LA. Due to this expansion, they are looking for a Junior Merchandiser to join their Merchandising team.

Job Description

1. Accurately undertake product setup within the internal system.
2. Work with the Merchandiser to ensure purchase orders are raised and sent to suppliers within deadlines.
3. Manage daily replenishment orders to the company's stores.
4. Review retail stock levels and make recommendations to improve assortment & stock levels, ensuring optimal sell-through & availability.
5. Review proposed stock transfers between stores and back to the distribution center.
6. Assist with retail stock take processes, maintaining accurate inventory records.
7. Support the Import Merchandiser with system updates & amendments.
8. Build strong working relationships with retail teams & operations functions.
9. Strive to introduce best practices across the merchandising team and replenishment processes.
10. Support the Merchandiser with Ecommerce launch data and intake reporting.
11. Provide ad hoc reports to support decision-making for retail.

The Successful Candidate

• Highly organized, numerical, and analytical.
• Strong Excel skills are essential.
• Previous experience with Netsuite or other inventory management systems is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and within a fast-paced team environment.
