Ernest Gordon Recruitment is representing a landmark Blackpool employer seeking a Junior Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical). Salary £39,400 with £45.0K OTE, plus training, progression and company benefits. This role offers hands-on, 1-on-1 training to build a strong mechanical skillset.

You will perform reactive and planned maintenance on bespoke equipment, work 7:30am–3:30pm on a 5‑day rota (occasional weekend work) and participate in a 1-in-5 call-out pattern to boost earnings through overtime.

Qualifications

• Mechanical background and hands-on maintenance experience.
• Comfortable working at heights.
• NVQ Level 3 in mechanical engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive maintenance on bespoke mechanical equipment at height.
• Work with other engineers to maintain a variety of equipment.
• 5-day week, 7:30am–3:30pm with occasional weekend work and 1-in-5 call-outs.
