You will work on client design collaborations, design jigs and fixtures, and create precise engineering drawings using SolidWorks, helping advance high-precision products for medical, aerospace, and veterinary sectors while learning and growing with industry experts.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a Design Engineer or internship in a design engineering role.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and geometric tolerancing is essential.
• Experience designing precision engineered products such as valves, pumps, seals, medical devices, etc.

• Collaborate with clients to understand needs and provide design support.

The Role

Reporting directly to one of the Directors who brings excess of 20 years of experience and knowledge, this dual-purpose role offers a unique blend of client-facing and hands-on engineering responsibilities: Client Design: Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, provide design support, and occasionally visit sites to ensure product success. Manufacturing Innovation: Design jigs and fixtures to improve manufacturing processes, focusing on how products are designed and produced efficiently. Use SolidWorks to create geometric tolerancing and precise engineering drawings.

The Person

• 1+ years of experience as a Design Engineer (including internships or placements)
• Ideally experience in designing precision engineered products such as valves, pumps, seals, medical devices, etc
• Essential: Experience and Proficiency in SolidWorks
