Job summary

Hays are representing a leading building services consultancy in Yorkshire, seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to deliver projects from feasibility to detailed design within a multidisciplinary team.

You will produce mechanical building services designs, undertake surveys and calculations, coordinate with other disciplines, attend client meetings, review submissions and mentor junior engineers, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical building services design.
• Proficiency with industry-standard design software.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Chartership would be advantageous.

Your new role
