Junior Email Marketing Manager

Location: Remote (Preference for UK or EU-based candidates)

We are a small to medium but dynamic business, dedicated to helping homeowners and businesses transform their spaces with tailored design solutions. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an Email Marketing Manager to help us build and optimise our email marketing strategy.

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Email Marketing Manager with Mailchimp expertise to assist us in setting up and managing our email marketing efforts. Since we are a small business, we require someone who can help establish the foundation of our email marketing strategy and then provide ongoing support for periodic campaigns throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and optimise Mailchimp for our business, ensuring compliance with best practices.
• Develop an email marketing strategy aligned with our brand and business goals.
• Design and manage email templates, automation, and audience segmentation.
• Work with our team to create engaging email content (newsletters, promotions, seasonal campaigns, etc.).
• Monitor campaign performance, provide data-driven insights, and suggest improvements.
• Ensure GDPR and email marketing compliance for our UK and EU audiences.
• Provide strategic guidance during periodic meetings for special campaigns (e.g., seasonal promotions, new service launches, or client outreach initiatives).

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience in email marketing, preferably in the interior design, home improvement, or luxury goods industries.
• Strong expertise in Mailchimp, including automation, A/B testing, and analytics.
• Knowledge of GDPR and email compliance best practices.
• Creative mindset with an eye for design and compelling copywriting.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a small team.
• Strong analytical skills to track performance and optimise campaigns.

Work Arrangement:

• Freelance or Part-Time (Flexible Hours)
• Remote Position (Preference for candidates in the UK or EU)
• Initial setup phase, followed by periodic meetings to strategise and execute campaigns throughout the year.

Compensation:

Competitive hourly or project-based rate, depending on experience. Open to discussing a retainer model for ongoing support.
