Job summary

Distinct Recruitment is recruiting for a Junior Management Accountant / Assistant Management Accountant role in Loughborough. You will work across four entities and report to the Finance Director within a small finance team.

£30k–£33k DOE, 6–12 month FTC with potential extension, 37.5 hours per week, hybrid working (typical one day WFH) and potential free parking. Strong Excel skills are important; Xero and Sage 50 experience would be useful but not essential.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years’ finance experience minimum.
• Advanced Excel and macros desirable.
• Xero and Sage 50 experience would be useful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Management Accounts and P&L reporting.
• Accruals and prepayments.
• Balance Sheet reconciliations and cash flow forecasting.
• Multi-entity accounting support.
• Taking ownership of finance processes and deadlines.
