Knights Solicitors in Tunbridge Wells is seeking a motivated junior legal professional to support its Litigation Department across civil, regulatory and criminal matters.

Open to junior or newly qualified solicitors, paralegals, legal assistants and candidates at the start of their career, the role offers practical experience in case preparation, research, client care and file management as well as law firm administration.

Formación

• Applications welcome from junior or newly qualified solicitors, paralegals or legal assistants.
• Law degree or relevant qualification is advantageous but not essential.
• Interest in civil litigation, regulatory and criminal law and commitment to developing a legal career.

Responsabilidades

• Research legal and practical issues; review documents; prepare summaries and hearing bundles.
• Draft and type correspondence and legal documents, including dictation and audio typing.
• Communicate professionally with clients, counsel, solicitors and third parties; assist onboarding and day-to-day case work.
• Maintain accurate electronic and physical files and case-management records.
• Provide general departmental and office administration including billing support and postal/courier services.
