Job summary

Asda Stores Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a Junior Product Developer to create high-quality lingerie, swimwear and beachwear. You will work with Design, Buying and our global supplier base from concept to production, ensuring fit, quality and compliance.

This hands-on role offers exposure to the full product lifecycle, collaboration with garment technologists, and travel to factories as needed. A foundation in garment technology and a passion for product are essential.

Qualifications

• Around two years' experience in garment technology or product development.
• Strong understanding of garment construction, fit and sizing.
• Knowledge of stretch fabrics, product testing and quality standards.
• Excellent communication and ability to work with suppliers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of products from concept through to production, delivering fit, quality and value.
• Lead fit sessions and provide technical feedback to suppliers.
• Review specifications, testing and compliance to ensure safety and legality.
• Build relationships with suppliers and internal teams to solve problems and manage critical paths.
• Use customer feedback and returns data to drive product improvements.
