Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is a first-person, action-adventure game developed by Ubisoft in collaboration with Lightstorm Entertainment and Disney. Built using the latest iteration of the Snowdrop engine, and developed exclusively for the new generation of consoles and PC, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora brings to life the alluring world of Pandora with all of its beauty and danger in an immersive, open-world experience.

The Role

As a Junior Level Designer, you’ll participate in the creation, tuning, and documentation of game levels and worlds, with optimum playability at the forefront of everything you do.

You'll contribute to the development of a highly skilled and ambitious design team working on James Cameron's world of Avatar, creating astonishing content and utilizing the technical possibilities of our Snowdrop engine. You’re looking for a creatively rewarding, exciting opportunity to work on a new type of open-world experience that provides stimulating challenges.

You'll develop an understanding and application of design theory, conversing with a dynamic and diverse group of gifted artists, designers, and technicians to ensure momentum and steer the project through each stage of the process. Your ability to listen to your peers and stakeholders will aid in the consistency of your work and achieving success on the project.

  • 3D Level design content from at least 1 game creation software or project.
  • Degree in Game Design, Level Design, or equivalent experience.
  • Evidence of Scripting knowledge.
  • Knowledge of industry standard level editors (such as Unity, Unreal, bespoke, etc.).
