Job summary

The Priory City of Lincoln Academy is seeking a motivated Swimming Instructor to join our Junior Learn to Swim Programme within the Sports Centre. The role covers Wednesday evenings 4-6:30pm, with potential to split hours with another instructor and relief work on other days for junior lessons.

You will deliver Stage 4-7 lessons, monitor progress and promote water safety as part of a supportive team dedicated to positive student experiences.

Qualifications

• Level 1 or 2 Swimming Teaching qualification (NPLQ/NRASTC desirable).
• Ability to deliver Stage 4-7 swimming lessons and promote water safety.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills; IT literate.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Stage 4-7 lessons to improver swimmers.
• Monitor progress, assess abilities, and manage class progression.
• Support students with SEN needs and work with staff to improve outcomes.
• Promote water safety and create a positive learning environment.
