Job summary

The Priory City of Lincoln Academy is looking for a motivated Swimming Instructor to join our Junior Learn to Swim Programme in the Sports Centre. You will deliver Stage 4-7 lessons to improver swimmers aged 4–16 and monitor progress to build confidence in the water.

Level 1 or 2 Swimming Teaching qualifications are sought (NPLQ/NRASTC desirable). The role is on Wednesday evenings 4–6.30pm with potential relief work on other days and requires safeguarding DBS compliance.

Qualifications

• Level 1/2 Swimming Teaching qualification (NPLQ/NRASTC desirable).
• Experience with Junior Learn to Swim programmes welcomed.
• Ability to work in a team and promote water safety.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Stage 4-7 swimming lessons to improver swimmers.
• Monitor progress and manage class progression.
• Promote water safety and confidence in the water.
