About the role

We’re looking for a Junior Kitchen Manager to join the Butlin's Restaurants Department based in Skegness.

About the role

Reporting to the Kitchen Manager, you will support the running of the kitchen and lead a team of up to 15. Your focus will be on delivering excellent guest experiences by ensuring operational excellence, resource planning, recruitment, and team development. You will monitor service quality, manage food costs, and ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards.

You will be a role model, inspiring your team and ensuring training and performance development. You will have the opportunity to lead in our main buffet restaurant serving guests on a half-board package.

About You

We seek individuals with experience at a similar level or those looking to step up. You should be hardworking, reliable, energetic, enthusiastic, and fun-loving. You must have passed your Level 3 Food Safety qualification and be confident in leading a team in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities also include managing margins, controlling costs, and ensuring health and safety standards.

The role requires working five days over seven, totaling 40 hours per week, with a bonus scheme.
