About The Role
We’re looking for a Junior Kitchen Manager to join the Butlin's Buffet Department based in Bognor Regis. Reporting to the Senior Kitchen Manager, you will support the running of the kitchen and lead a team of up to 40 staff. Your focus will be on ensuring guest satisfaction through operational excellence, resource planning, recruitment, and team development.
You will monitor service quality, develop improvement plans, and manage food cost budgets via menu planning and standards adherence. Ensuring food hygiene, health and safety compliance, and staff training are also key responsibilities.
The role involves leading and developing a team in our main buffet restaurant serving guests with booked half-board packages. We seek energetic, enthusiastic individuals with experience at a similar level or those looking to step up into this role.
Requirements include passing Level 3 Food Safety, team leadership skills, and the ability to manage margins, costs, and safety standards in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be fun, team-oriented, and committed to guest satisfaction.
Working hours are five days a week, 40 hours, finishing by 8 pm, with a bonus scheme included.
