HMRC is seeking a Junior IT Delivery Manager to join the Chief Digital & Information Office (CDIO). The role focuses on supporting Delivery Managers, maintaining IT delivery plans, and coordinating communications.

You will help document risks and dependencies while fostering collaborative relationships across product and delivery teams. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced digital environment, can prioritise multiple tasks, and supports others to achieve outcomes in line with project

You will be an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual, with a passion for people and learning, thriving in a fast paced, exciting digital environment.

As a Junior IT Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Supporting Delivery Managers with the delivery of a range of projects of varying scale.
• Supporting the production and maintenance of end-to-end IT delivery plans.
• Supporting the Delivery Managers with reporting and communications.
• Documenting IT risks, issues and dependencies.
• Supporting the Delivery Managers with cost forecasting and tracking throughout the project.
• Building and maintaining effective and collaborative relationships to achieve successful outcomes for the business.
• Being an active member of the Delivery Manager community.
• Working collaboratively with Product Managers, Delivery Managers and wider stakeholders to ensure delivery is aligned with the project scope, requirements, and timeline constraints.

Essential Criteria

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate practical experience working within either an operational or IT environment, with the following:

• Utilising communication skills, using a variety of methods with a range of stakeholders.
• Utilising organisation and planning skills, prioritising your time and work activities to deliver competing demands.
• Supporting others to deliver beneficial outcomes.

Desirable Criteria

• The successful candidate will have an awareness or demonstrate experience in working in an Agile delivery environment.
