Job Description Overview

Mustard is partnering with an established Hospitality Design Studio to recruit a Junior Interior Designer for a permanent role. The ideal candidate will have some experience working on commercial interior design projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work on various projects and contribute to the success of this design firm.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Mid-Level and Senior Designers to develop innovative and functional design concepts
• Create detailed technical drawings and specifications for construction and installation
• Research and select appropriate materials, finishes, and furniture for each project
• Manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure client satisfaction

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field
• At least 1 year of experience in a professional design environment
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Excellent communication, time management, and organisational skills

Day-to-day Tasks

• Collaborate with the design team to brainstorm and develop creative concepts
• Produce detailed technical drawings and specifications
• Research and source materials and furnishings
• Attend client meetings and present design proposals
• Manage project timelines and deliverables to meet client expectations and deadlines
