NETbuilder in Farnborough is seeking a Junior Infrastructure Engineer. No prior infrastructure experience is required. You’ll complete a 7-week technical training programme, designed and delivered by our IT professionals, to start your career in Infrastructure Engineering.
You’ll learn Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VMware, and Microsoft 365, with on-the-job development and mentoring as you support Windows environments and projects.

We’re looking for a Junior Infrastructure Engineer to join one of our fast-growing IT consulting clients in Farnborough. No previous Infrastructure Engineering experience is required. Before joining the client, you'll complete a 7-week technical training programme, designed and delivered by our team of experienced IT professionals, giving you the practical skills and knowledge to start your career in Infrastructure Engineering.
We're looking for people who are passionate about technology, enjoy solving problems and are keen to learn. Your experience could come from a degree, apprenticeship, college course, certification, home lab, personal project or self-study.
During training and continued on-the-job development, you'll gain experience with:
Desirable, but not essential: exposure to Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, networking, VMware/Hyper-V, Linux or PowerShell.
Following training, you will work alongside experienced Infrastructure Engineers, supporting Windows Server and Active Directory environments, monitoring infrastructure, troubleshooting issues, assisting with maintenance and projects, and continuing to develop your technical skills.
