Job summary

Sony Pictures is seeking an entry-level Incident Response & Information Security Analyst in the United Kingdom. You will assist with alert triage, incident response, documentation, and security operations across the enterprise.

You will work with Incident Response, Security Operations, IT, and other teams to protect SPE’s employees, productions, and technology. The role emphasizes learning playbooks, following procedures, and timely responses to diverse security events.

Qualifications

• Basic networking, OS, IAM, endpoint security, cloud and email security concepts.
• Familiarity with SIEM/EDR, ticketing tools, vulnerability management or log analysis is preferred.
• Ability to follow playbooks and document steps clearly.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, review, and triage security alerts from SIEM, EDR, email security and cloud platforms.
• Support investigation of suspected security events and document evidence and timelines.
• Execute containment and remediation steps from playbooks and escalate high-risk issues.
• Assists with post-incident reviews and lessons learned to improve response quality.
• Help maintain incident response runbooks, playbooks and knowledge articles.
• Research emerging threats relevant to SPE’s environment and support communications with teams.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams for timely remediation and reporting.
