Job summary

Sony Pictures Entertainment, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Incident Response & Information Security Analyst in the United Kingdom.

Qualifications

• Foundational technical knowledge across networking, OS, IAM, endpoint security, and cloud services.
• Exposure to security operations tools like SIEM/EDR and ticketing systems.
• Ability to follow playbooks, document steps, preserve evidence, and escalate appropriately.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, review, and triage security alerts from SIEM, EDR, email security, identity, cloud, and other platforms under senior analysts.
• Support investigation of suspected security events including phishing, malware, credential exposure, suspicious logins, endpoint activity, and unauthorized access.
• Collect and document evidence, timelines, indicators of compromise, steps taken, and escalation details in case management systems.
• Execute containment and remediation steps from approved playbooks; escalate high-risk issues.
• Assist with post-incident reviews by capturing lessons learned and identifying control gaps.
• Support maintenance and improvement of incident response playbooks, procedures, and runbooks.
• Research emerging threats, phishing themes, malware trends, vulnerabilities, and actor behaviors relevant to SPE.
• Coordinate with Information Security, IT, and business teams for timely communication and remediation follow-up.
• Contribute to operational reporting on alert volume, incident trends, and response activity.
