Your Responsibilities

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Junior Designer to join Lockton’s Design and Marketing group. You will be part of our in-house New Business design team; creating bespoke RFPs, proposal/tender, and presentation bid documents. We are currently in a period of growth and are looking for someone with a positive mindset, a good eye for details, and the ability to ensure projects are delivered on time.

To be successful in this role, you should have in-depth knowledge of graphic design, styles, and layout techniques. You should also have experience executing creative projects from conception to production, ensuring the Lockton brand is well represented through high-quality pieces delivered under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

1. Design original reports, documents, and presentations, including illustrations and infographics.
2. Refine images, fonts, and layouts using graphic design software. Apply typography techniques.
3. Maintain brand consistency across all creative projects.
4. Liaise with the design team to ensure deadlines are met.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven work experience as a Graphic Designer or in a similar role.
• Portfolio of completed design projects.
• High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and basic to advanced knowledge of MS Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong aesthetic skills with the ability to combine colors, fonts, and layouts effectively.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate effectively within a team.
• Experience preparing final artwork files for print and digital formats.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a positive attitude.
