Job summary

Ellis Digital in Guildford, Surrey, is seeking a Junior Graphic Designer to join our creative team. You will thrive in a small, close-knit group and contribute to a range of projects both independently and with the team.

You'll produce social media visuals, email campaigns, brand identities, and client websites, while ensuring high quality and on-time delivery. Proactive creativity and a strong portfolio are essential as you collaborate with the Senior Designer and support deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience using the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Illustrator & Photography.
• Experience working with Figma.
• Collaborating with Senior Designer and assisting with projects and client deadlines.
• Motivated and hardworking individual with strong communication skills.
• A clear passion for all things design and creative.
• Solid understanding of design principles, with an ability to accept instruction.
• Enthusiasm and pride in your work with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure when required and deliver to client deadlines.
• Keeps up with the latest design trends and leading technology.
• A good portfolio of design work.
• Experience managing workload and prioritising tight deadlines.
• Experience operating on MacOS and Dropbox systems.
• Graphic Design University Degree.

Responsibilities

• Producing compelling designs for social media accounts and email campaigns.
• Working with our creative team to design bespoke websites for clients.
• Helping to create brand identities and undertaking branding refreshes.
• Photo retouching and manipulation, changing backgrounds etc.
• Creating assets such as logos, marketing materials etc.
• Assisting the social media department with creative ideas & producing social media assets.
• Developing the Ellis Digital brand and creating assets where required.
• Liaising within the team to ensure all client deadlines are met.
• Assisting the wider team where required with non design tasks.

About the company

We are a small digital marketing and creative agency based just outside of Guildford, Surrey in a 400-year-old barn conversion. Since we began in 2015, we have continued to grow our client base and are now looking to expand our growing team.

We’re a small, friendly team who are passionate about all things digital marketing and love a chat in the office over a cup of tea and a box of biscuits!
