Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is seeking a Graduate Geoenvironmental Consultant for a specialist geo-environmental consultancy near Luton. If you're a recent geology or earth science graduate, join a supportive team in the South East, gain hands-on site experience and specialist training.

You'll assist with site walkovers, investigations, logging soils and rocks, and Phase 1 Desk Studies, while developing report-writing skills and CPD.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a BSc in geology, environmental science, geoscience, geochemistry or earth science (MSc preferable).
• Keen to learn and develop geo-environmental and geotechnical skills.
• Enthusiasm for working outdoors in a hands-on role.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Candidates must live in or near to Luton.
• Have a right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Attend and assist with site walkovers and site investigations.
• Carry out soil and rock logging and prepare phase plans.
• Carry out Phase 1 Desk Studies and write factual/interpretive reports.
• Receive specialist training to develop skills.
