Whistles in London is seeking a Junior Garment Technologist to drive quality and technical excellence across woven products, including trousers, jackets, dresses and jumpsuits. You will lead weekly fit sessions, own garment construction, pattern cutting, grading and testing, and collaborate with Design, Buying and suppliers to ensure ethical standards and efficient processes across the supply chain.

The role offers exposure to fabric development, supplier onboarding, and a supportive team

Qualifikationen

• Strong understanding of garment construction in woven separates
• Experience with pattern cutting, grading and testing
• Knowledge of AQL inspection and repair guidelines

Aufgaben

• Lead weekly fit sessions and demonstrate deep expertise in garment construction, materials and manufacturing processes
• Oversee supplier onboarding, ethical management and compliance
• Collaborate with fabric team on fabric development, evaluation and testing
• Coach and develop the Assistant Garment Technologist
• Conduct regular store visits and competitor research to stay informed about market trends and customer preferences
• Share expertise and advise colleagues on AQL inspection and repair guidelines
