Job summary

Nokwol in London is seeking an aspiring footwear designer to gain hands-on experience in a premium fashion environment. You will support the design process from concept to production, working closely with the Owners, Senior Designers, and Product Development teams.

Responsibilities include developing seasonal collections, creating CAD drawings and specifications, researching trends, developing mood boards and colour stories, and assisting with material selection.

Qualifications

• Degree in Footwear Design, Fashion Design or related discipline.
• 1–2 years' footwear design experience or internships.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (and Photoshop).
• Excellent sketching and visual presentation skills.
• Understanding of footwear construction, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

• Review prototypes and samples, providing feedback to ensure design intent and quality standards are achieved.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Merchandise, and Sourcing teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Monitor competitor activity and emerging trends within the premium and luxury footwear market.

Key Responsibilities

About You
