Job summary

SUCCESS TALENT in London is seeking a Footwear Designer to create innovative, commercially viable ranges for high street clients, with a primary focus on kids' footwear. The hybrid role is a 12-month FTC starting September, offering £35,000–£50,000 depending on experience.

You will design seasonal collections for Men's, Women's, Kids and Slippers, translate ideas into sketches and tech packs, collaborate with account managers and production teams, and ensure design specs meet production

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Footwear Design required.
• Proven experience designing for high street fashion brands.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

Responsibilities

• Create original footwear designs that are trend-led, functional, and commercially relevant.
• Translate ideas into sketches, technical drawings, and illustrations using design software.
• Collaborate with account managers and product development teams to finalise collections and present them to clients.
• Communicate with factories to ensure alignment on design specifications and production expectations.
• Assist in the selection of materials and trims that support both aesthetic and functional requirements.
• Test materials to evaluate performance, durability, and suitability for intended use.
• Generate detailed tech packs to guide sampling and production.
• Partner with sample makers throughout the development process.
• Participate in fit sessions, providing feedback on fit, comfort, and style.
• Monitor sample quality to ensure alignment with design vision and production standards.

A leading fashion supplier is seeking a Footwear Designer to create innovative and commercially viable ranges that meet the demands of their high street clients. You will design and develop seasonal collections for key accounts including supermarket brands across Men's, Women's, Kids, and Slippers, with a primary focus on kids' footwear.

You will be responsible for developing original designs that reflect current trends and customer preferences, working collaboratively with the design team to contribute to seasonal colour palettes, materials, and microtrend development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create original footwear designs that are trend-led, functional, and commercially relevant
