Job summary

JTC Group is seeking a junior finance assistant to support Financial Controllers across an international portfolio. The role involves assisting with management accounts, journals, reconciliations, and the maintenance of financial records.

You will work within the PCS Finance team, learning core processes and gradually taking on broader management accounts responsibilities as you develop. An entry-level position with training and team support is provided.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role; no prior experience required.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Good organisational skills and ability to manage routine tasks accurately.
• Team-oriented; able to support multiple stakeholders.
• Basic Excel and general IT skills.
• Positive, proactive approach and willingness to develop within a finance environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of management accounts and related finance deliverables.
• Prepare journals, supporting schedules, and working papers.
• Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and other control processes.
• Provide support for audits, statutory filings, and other reporting requirements.
• Help maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with administrative finance tasks across the team as required.
• Work across a shared portfolio, supporting different team members based on business need.
• Build knowledge of core finance processes and develop into broader management accounts activity over time.
