Job summary

Horizon Parking Ltd is seeking a Junior Field Technical Surveyor to support field surveys for ANPR and related technology installations across the UK. You will work with experienced surveyors, collecting site data and assessing electrical infrastructure while developing practical installation solutions.

You will gain hands-on surveying experience, learn ANPR technologies, and contribute to project delivery while travelling nationwide and staying away as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical, construction, engineering or technical environments.
• Willingness to work towards an electrical qualification.
• Understanding of safe working practices and health & safety requirements.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office applications.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide, including overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with carrying out field surveys for ANPR and related technology installations across the UK.
• Collect accurate site measurements, photographs and technical information for project planning.
• Assist with assessing electrical infrastructure, power supplies and ducting under supervision.
• Prepare survey notes and supporting documentation for technical reports.
• Support project delivery by ensuring survey information is accurate and timely.
• Learn to interpret technical drawings, utility plans and site layouts.
• Develop understanding of ANPR technologies, electrical infrastructure and installation methodologies.
• Support camera fault investigations and signage installations.
• Work safely in line with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
