Ernest Gordon Recruitment is looking for a Junior Field Service Engineer to start a hands-on career installing, servicing and commissioning packaging machinery. You will gain hands-on training and support to gain electrical qualifications while travelling across the UK.

You will join a close-knit family-run business that offers full training, a clear path into Field Service Engineering and opportunities to develop technical skills with experienced engineers.

Competenze

• Completed a Level 3 qualification, apprenticeship, HNC/HND or degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to travel throughout the UK.

Mansioni

• Assist with installation and commissioning of packaging machinery.
• Learn to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
• Work on pallet wrappers, conveyors, turntables, strapping and banding equipment.
• Travel throughout the UK, with occasional overnight stays.
• Attend the Wellingborough facility for training, repairs and meetings.

Are you a recent Engineering graduate or college leaver looking to start a hands‑on career in Field Service Engineering?

Are you looking to join a close‑knit, family‑run business offering full training, electrical qualifications support and the opportunity to develop into a skilled Service Engineer?

You’ll join a specialist provider of pallet wrapping machinery, stretch film systems and end‑of‑line packaging solutions, supporting customers across manufacturing, food production, logistics and warehousing.

Working alongside experienced engineers, you’ll receive hands‑on training to install, service, repair and commission a wide range of industrial machinery. The company will also support you in gaining further electrical engineering qualifications, helping you build a strong and well‑rounded engineering skill set.

This role would suit a recent Engineering graduate, college leaver, Apprentice or Junior Engineer looking for hands‑on training, electrical qualification support and a clear route into Field Service Engineering.
