Our Installations team is looking to expand their Field Service Technician team to assist with the installation of CCTV systems around Colchester.

Location: Colchester

Remote position for applicants in: Colchester, Chelmsford, or Cambridge

As a Junior Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and providing technical support for WCCTV Rapid Deployment CCTV Towers.

Responsibilities of a Junior Field Service Engineer:

• Provide servicing and fault-finding diagnostics to determine solutions.
• Maintain a consistent approach while using your initiative, with minimal supervision, upholding our customer-first value.
• Seek to add value to our services and achieve first-time fixes.
• Partner with customers to ensure service quality meets or exceeds expectations.
• Document processes and follow company procedures and protocols.
• This role is field-based, involving travel to sites from your home base using a WCCTV vehicle.
• Support systems deployed within your home area.

Your Experience & Characteristics:

• Full, clean UK drivers' license.
• Manual dexterity for assembling and fixing electronic equipment.
• Proven experience in fault finding, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical equipment.
• HNC or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• Knowledge of stock control processes.
• Ability to work independently with high standards.
• Customer-first mindset, maintaining core values.
• Background in Electronics, preferably in a technology service environment, with understanding of analytical applications.
• Previous technical experience in field roles is desirable but not essential.
• Experience in CCTV or alarm systems is advantageous.
