Job description

We’re looking for a talented and proactive Junior EA to support our CEO/Founder and Leadership team, while helping shape and maintain our office and team culture. Reporting to the Head of Ops and Talent, you’ll ensure smooth daily operations, coordinate with the executive team, and maintain an efficient office environment that reflects our values.

This role suits someone with around 2–3 years of experience seeking to grow their EA career and take on broader responsibilities in office management, executive support, and company culture. We value exceptional communication skills, high reliability, and emotional intelligence.

Please see our Company Principles to understand our core values. We aim to create something extraordinary with a huge impact by attracting exceptional people.

Role responsibilities include:
  1. High-volume inbox management and correspondence: managing the CEO’s email, flagging priorities, responding on their behalf, and tracking deadlines.
  2. Extensive diary management using Google Calendar: accommodating a changeable schedule and prioritising meetings.
  3. Arranging internal and external meetings for the CEO and other executives, ensuring the CEO is briefed and prepared with supporting documentation.
  4. Attending key internal meetings and taking clear, actionable notes for effective follow-up.
  5. Supporting the processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports in line with company policies.
  6. Ensuring the smooth running of the office, liaising with building management, and acting as the first point of contact for office-related issues.
  7. Leading planning and logistics for major team events (e.g., Christmas Party, Annual Offsite) with a colleague overseeing socials.
  8. Greeting new employees and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
  9. Contributing creative ideas to team-building and morale initiatives.
Required skills and experience:
  • 2+ years experience as an Executive Assistant or Office Manager, preferably in a startup or high-growth environment.
  • Trustworthy with the ability to handle confidential information.
  • Proven ability to manage complex diaries and schedules efficiently, supporting senior staff.
  • Outstanding organisational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, with quick learning ability for new systems.
  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, demonstrate initiative, and meet multiple deadlines.
  • Team player willing to assist colleagues as needed.
Location:

We operate a hybrid model with a small office near Holborn tube station and occasional team days. Some days are remote, with communication via Slack and Zoom.

Compensation:

Salary plus generous share options through a tax-efficient EMI scheme, offering exposure to the company's success without immediate taxes.

Equal Opportunities:

We are committed to diversity and do not discriminate based on gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, or other protected characteristics. We believe a diverse team helps us achieve our best.
