Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd in Swindon seeks a Junior Engineering Technologist for an office-based role with some travel. You will receive extensive hands-on training across product development, testing and engineering.

Ideal candidates are graduates in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Physics or Mathematics with strong maths, a problem-solving mindset and a willingness to learn. Salary £35,000-£45,000 plus pension and 25 days holiday.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or Mathematics (essential).
• Ideally 1–5 years of experience, although graduates considered.
• Strong maths skills, technically minded and a natural problem solver.
• Basic CAD skills and a willingness to learn.
• Commutable to Swindon with a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on training across product development, testing and engineering.
• Technical problem-solving, diagnostics and data analysis.
• CAD work and technical documentation.
• Working closely with experienced engineers, with long-term progression opportunities.
