Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking a Junior Engineer / Technical Officer in Southampton to join a leading equipment manufacturer. You will receive full training and work on state-of-the-art mechanical and electrical equipment, combining hands-on work with customer-facing duties in a hybrid setup.

The role offers a clear progression path, a 37.5-hour week, weekend work on occasions, and a focus on installing, testing and demonstrating equipment for clients across the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Practical, technically minded and customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Build, assemble and test equipment in the workshop.
• Visit customer sites to support installation and maintenance.
• Provide technical support to customers including demonstrations.
• 37.5 h/week, with occasional weekend work and hybrid option.
