Safran Burnley is seeking a Low Carbon Trainee to develop in energy management and carbon reduction. This 2-year fixed term, hybrid role focuses on hands-on sustainability projects and data-driven improvements across the site.

You will gain practical experience, funded training, and an apprenticeship pathway, working with experienced professionals to deliver meaningful climate action and energy efficiency initiatives.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor energy consumption and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support carbon reduction projects and environmental performance.
• Collect and report energy data using company systems.
• Assist with energy saving opportunities and improvement initiatives.
• Help deliver climate action and carbon reduction plans.
• Assist with audits and documentation.
• Prepare reports for sustainability meetings.
• Contribute to feasibility studies and business cases.
• Gain exposure to energy management standards.
