Job summary

Red Bull Racing & Technology is seeking a Junior Electrical Systems Engineer in Milton Keynes to install and integrate electrical and electronic systems across the race car and related equipment, ensuring reliable performance for engineering teams.

Key tasks include wiring harness design and installation, fault investigation, and supporting reliability and development projects. You will help maintain engineering records, contribute to drawing standards, and uphold health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Electrical system installation experience required.
• Knowledge of CAD routing for wiring harnesses.
• Able to create and maintain engineering documentation and standards.
• Experience in fault-finding within electrical/electronic systems.

Responsibilities

• Specify, design and install on-car and off-car wiring harnesses, assemblies and components.
• Investigate and resolve electrical system faults and ensure timely closure.
• Support reliability, development and continuous improvement projects across Electronics.
• Monitor design releases and workflows; ensure engineering changes progress.
• Contribute to drawing standards and departmental best practices.
• Maintain accurate engineering records and system transactions with strong health and safety practices.

As a Junior Electrical Systems Engineer, you'll be responsible for the installation and integration of electrical and electronic systems across our race car and associated equipment, ensuring our engineering teams have the reliable performance and functionality needed to succeed.

What You'll Be Doing

• Specify, design and install on-car and off-car wiring harnesses, assemblies and associated components.
• Investigate and resolve electrical system faults, ensuring issues are closed out efficiently.
• Support reliability, development and continuous improvement projects across the Electronics team.
• Monitor design releases and workflows, ensuring engineering changes are progressed effectively.
• Contribute to the development of drawing standards, design processes and departmental best practices.
• Maintain accurate engineering records and system transactions whilst ensuring high standards of health, safety and housekeeping.
