Element Materials Technology Ltd. is recruiting an Electrical Safety Test Technician to join our Hull Centre of Excellence. You will support the product safety team by performing tests and inspections, maintaining records and ensuring compliance with ISO 17025.

The role offers an opportunity to develop technical skills, improve testing processes, and contribute to bringing innovative products to market while upholding our commitment to quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Qualified to A-Level/T-level/BTEC or HNC in Electronics or equivalent.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to interact with customers and colleagues.
• Computer literate with knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
• Team player with drive and the ability to complete tasks.
• Strong planning and workload management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and tidy working environment following Element procedures.
• Perform tests and inspections under supervision of Test Engineers.
• Maintain test records, test areas, equipment and client equipment per ISO 17025.
• Ensure test equipment and procedures are used and maintained per ISO 17025.
• Highlight when test equipment is out of calibration and review calibration data.
• Ensure commercial confidentiality is maintained.
• Review customer user guides and markings to ensure requirements are present.
