Junior Electrical Maintenance Engineer (PLC Training)
£37,500 - £40,000 (45k OTE) + Training on PLC's + Progression to Senior Engineer + Generous Overtime + Flexible working hours
Bilston, West Midlands

Are you a Junior Electrical Maintenance Engineer or similar looking for days only role with training and progression to become a full-fledged Electrical Maintenance Engineer, whilst receiving training on PLC's making you an expert?

In this role you will be working preventively and reactively, in a role split 50 / 50 between mechanical and electrical, working on a range of equipment which uses AC three-phase motors, overhead cranes, pickers, drives and chains.

This company was founded nearly 170 years ago and has developed into a leader within their industry with multiple sites across the UK, carrying out work globally. Due to the high demand of this industry and recent growth, this role will be crucial in implementing a standardised maintenance system across all sites.

This role would suit a Junior Electrical Maintenance Engineer or similar, with a level 2 electrical qualification, looking for a role within a tight-knit team that offers progression and the chance to be trained on PLC's.

The Role

• Reactive and Preventative maintenance of bespoke manufacturing machinery




• Working on AC three-phase motors and various mechanical equipment




• Flexi time based on Monday to Thursday from 8:00am to 4:30pm, finishing at 3:30pm on Fridays




• On-call rota paid at increased rate when called out

The Person

• Junior Electrical Maintenance Engineer Valid UK Driving license




• Level 2 electrical qualification




• Commutable to Bilston
