Experienced electrical maintenance engineer required to undertake PPM and reactive breakdown repairs on a range of unique special purpose machinery and equipment.

Our client is an internationally recognised household name in leisure and entertainment, established for nearly 70 years. Due to ongoing growth, they are seeking experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineers to join their team. Reporting to the Electrical Team Manager, the successful candidates will perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs to ensure rides are safe, operational, and reliable.

Core responsibilities include:

1. Maintaining high standards of workmanship and presentation of rides.
2. Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance across rides, supporting team reliability and working closely with Operations to implement improvements.
3. Performing checks (daily, weekly, monthly) to standards that meet manufacturer recommendations, and understanding ride manuals for maintenance scope.
4. Working with the Team Manager to source and justify parts, ensuring value for money.
5. Maintaining workshop and maintenance areas, tools, and equipment, ensuring inspections and stock levels are adequate.
6. Monitoring work quality, addressing concerns, and sharing best practices.
7. Improving communication within the team and reporting safety-critical issues immediately.
8. Following safety procedures, including PPE use and lock-off protocols.
9. Supporting team training and undertaking necessary training.
10. Using the Ride Maintenance system (Mobaro) for reporting and trend analysis, and ensuring compliance with certification requirements.
11. Providing support to the Facilities electrical team as needed.

Qualifications include at least NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, C&G Inspection and Testing, and 18th Edition IEE regs. Experience with PLC, Drives, Controls Systems, fault diagnosis, and electrical schematics is required. Additional training in Working at Heights, First Aid, H&S, and MEWP/telehandler is advantageous. The role demands experience with maintenance systems, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work safely at height.
