Qualifications

• 1-2 years' experience in estimating or an electrical background preferred.
• Knowledge of residential and/or commercial electrical systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and willingness to learn.

• Assist in preparing accurate and competitive electrical cost estimates.
• Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
• Support senior estimator and project managers with bid preparation.

Due to a strong pipeline of work, we're looking for a Junior Electrical Estimator to join our pre-construction team.

The Role:
This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their estimating career to gain hands-on experience with a supportive team. You’ll assist in preparing cost estimates, analyzing drawings, and supporting tender submissions for a range of projects.

Junior Electrical Estimator Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing accurate and competitive electrical cost estimates

• Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and tender documents

• Support the senior estimator and project managers with bid preparation

• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing and quotes

• Maintain estimating files and documentation

• Help identify risks, discrepancies, and value-engineering opportunities

Junior Electrical Estimator Requirements:

• 1–2 years' experience in estimating or an electrical background (preferred)

• Knowledge of residential and/or commercial electrical systems

• Strong numerical and analytical skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with estimating software is a plus

• Willingness to learn and grow within the company
