Junior Electrical Engineer (Marine)

£25,000 - £35,000 + Training + Company Vehicle

Do you have a background in Electrical or Electronics Engineering looking to work for a newly-established Marine company? A company who will train you in all aspects of maritime electronics, offer a company vehicle and opportunities to kickstart your career?

On offer is the chance to work for a company where every day brings something new, from working on cutting-edge boat builds to keeping vital navigation systems running across the UK and beyond. They work on a variety of commercial and recreational boats, providing high-quality electronic and electrical services across the UK and Europe.

In this varied role, you will learn to install, maintain, and repair a wide range of marine electronic and electrical systems. From navigation and communication to safety equipment, you'll be trained across all aspects of the job. Work takes place both on vessels and in the workshop.

This role would suit a candidate with Electrical or Electronics knowledge, looking for a junior position with a growing company who will train from the ground up on marine-based technology.

THE ROLE

  • Install and maintain marine electronics
  • Repair navigation and safety systems
  • Troubleshoot technical issues onboard
  • Ensure systems meet safety standards
  • Monday to Friday (8:30 - 5PM)

THE PERSON

  • Electrical or Electronics Engineering background
  • Looking to enter the Marine industry
  • Full UK driving licence
