Job summary

Aldwych Consulting Ltd is seeking an Electrical Engineer in London with hybrid working. You will support electrical building services design across commercial projects, gaining exposure to client meetings and project delivery while taking on increasing responsibility.

The role is not a graduate position; you should have prior building services consultancy experience, strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations, and proficiency in industry-standard design software.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months' experience within a Building Services Consultancy.
• Experience producing electrical building services designs for commercial projects.
• A good understanding of UK Building Regulations and relevant industry standards.
• Experience using industry-standard design software.
• A degree (or equivalent) in Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ambition to continue developing towards senior engineer level.

Electrical Engineer

We're partnering with an ambitious and innovative building services consultancy that's challenging the traditional consultancy model. Working across the commercial property sector, they provide MEP engineering, technical due diligence, refurbishment, decarbonisation and advisory services for developers, investors, asset managers and occupiers.

Innovation is a key part of the business. Alongside delivering high-quality engineering solutions, they're developing their own AI platform specifically for the built environment, designed to improve project delivery, streamline engineering processes and help clients make smarter, data-driven decisions.

The Role
This role is ideal for an Electrical Engineer with previous building services consultancy experience who wants to broaden their project exposure and continue developing technically.

You'll support the design and delivery of electrical building services projects across a range of commercial developments, working closely with experienced engineers while taking on increasing responsibility as your career progresses.

Please note: This is not a graduate position. Applicants must already have experience working within a building services consultancy.
